I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and has kept my word, and has not denied my name. —Revelation 3:8

Doors Are Opening

Doors are opening for you that no man can shut, because you have obeyed God and have not denied His name. Each door carries with it increased responsibility, but God will grace you with supernatural strength to walk through. As you are elevated, more and more of your self-will dies to the point where you are totally reliant upon God’s strength and not your own.

God may even give you a glimpse of what is waiting for you behind each door. This glimpse may come through a prophetic word; through reading His Word; or through people, angels, dreams, or open visions. He may not be taking you to the pulpit or onto a national platform. Behind one door, God may be calling you to minister to that one person on the street corner who has lost all hope. Behind another door, a family living in a homeless shelter may need an answer or direction for their lives. Behind the next door, someone bound by drugs may need you to minister a word of deliverance. Behind another approaching door, the pastor of a small church in the backwoods of Mississippi may need you to serve as a midwife to help him or her give birth to God’s vision for the house.

Yes, the doors of the church are open because God is calling you beyond the usual four walls of church to minister to those who may not look like you, act like you, smell like you, or even talk like you. Yes, the door leading to your prophetic elevation carries with it a weight for which only a shift into a new anointing can strengthen you.
